I bought a 1997 bumper for my 1995 Maxima. Only problem is that I want foglights, and the '97 bumper is from a GXE. Since it's not painted yet, can I just cleanly tear off the little plastic line that blocks the foglight openings?

Are there special brackets/molds/holes/whatever different on the SE plastic bumper cover? Or are the little plastic lines the only difference?

hmm, id like to know the answer to this aswell since im gettin my 97 bumper soon.

 

I mean logically it should be the only difference, and it looks soooooooo easy to remove, but I don't want to **** this up and not be able to change it for an SE bumper, even though it cost me only 65.00$ new.

 

where did u get this, on ebay?, i was gonna get one off of there also, do you think if i mention i need an se bumper it ould have the fogs cut out?
