Changing Fog Light Bulbs

I followed the procedure on housecor's site. Anyone else have trouble getting the H3 connector unhooked from the black plastic housing. I wiggled it back and forth...then tried two sets of pliers. One pulling on the H3 connector the other on the black plastic houseing...it would not come out.

Finally had to take the black plastic housing apart and bend the female end holding the H3 in place.

I changed my fogs yesterday and had trouble pulling out the white cord from the connector. I just pulled real hard and it popped out. I don't know if you can out them in upside down or if it makes a difference which way the go in?? Maybe that's why yours was so hard to pull out??

tek,
Not the bulb, but the connector.

crispy,
I pulled so hard the brass/copper fitting inside the black plastic housing came out the other end. It was still attached to the foglight connector.

Use two pairs of pliers. One to hold the connector, the other to pull the white cord out.

someone has a brain...it's common sence....since you see the connector moves with the plug, you have to hold the connector in place while moving the plug

That person with a brain wouldn't be either one of you, I posted that in the first post:

yeah, my bulbs were pretty stuck in there, and i also couldnt get the connector off, so i just kinda gave up, and worked right on the bumper w/ the fog actually still connected to the car. I had to use 2 pairs of pliers as well to get the actual bulb, because every time i pulled, only the brass piece would come futher out...once thats done though, its cake. My first one took me probably about 15 min. and the other one took about 5 minutes total.

Worked for me without pliers and i just used my hands. You have to hold one of the parts down with something and pull the other one.

That's because us people, without a brain, were able to disconnect the wires using two pairs of pliers.

You need to read again. Make sense (note correct spelling)?

What is spelled incorrectly? You've lost me.

Regardless, try again or take it to the dealer if you are inept.

Reading is your friend. Whats the problem there buddy? I already mentioned I used 2 pliers and was asking anyone if they had the same problem. Try posting your "useful information" somewhere else.

You are absolutely correct. Trying to assist someone of your technical level is inane and useless. Obviously, me < reading and you < intelligence.
