Changing Fog Light Bulbs on a 2000

Need to replace a burnt out bulb on my 2000 Maxima SE. How do you get to the bulb to change it? The link in the How To section here does not work.
Help!

Something I just noticed about Housecor's write-up is that it is not necessary to remove the screw that holds down the metal retainer clip for the bulb.

Thanks for the link to the Housecor site. Seems like a lot of work just to replace a bulb!

that is actually a write up for a 2k2. the process is actually a little different and more difficult on a 2k/2k1. i had a link posting a how to but it seems to be gone as well.

Take off the headlight and access the fogs from the top might be easier than taking off the splash guards from the bottom. Just a tip. I haven't personally changed the fog bulbs, just noticed the assembly itself is easy to get to when the headlights are removed.

i did it last week. you need to take off like 3 screw bolt things that hold the plastic covers on. after you can see the assembly remove the screw thats on the bottom of the assembly. unplug the connector, twist the cover off, pull the metal clip away to access the bulb, unplug the bulb then pull up on the bulb. Housecors site helped but things were a little different.

another thing housecor's howto doesn't state is how to disconnect the wiring harness that's attached to the frame. if i remember correctly there should be a little button in the middle that you have to press down the a flat head screw driver and then pull the clips apart.

Thanks for the tips. I replaced both of them today. Only took about 10 minutes per side. Also rewired them per housecor's tips to come on without the headlights. Worked great!
