Cold Issues, not like I read on here... HELP
I have a 2000 Maxima SE with 83k miles. I have already had a tune up, replaced the coils, the MAF sensor and had the ECU reprogrammed. Recently I have noticed since it got colder, that when the car is cold, it hesitates. If i push the accelerator pretty hard its ok. If I just accelerate slowly, its magnified, the car hesitates and stumbles. I have also noticed the car is alot louder, I think I may have an exhaust leak somewhere, but not sure if it has something to do with it? Also, when I am coming to a stop if I downshift, and the rpm's rev up, the car doesn't sound smooth at all, its loud and almost as if the engine is skipping but isn't.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes, that does sound like the problem. It has gotten worse over the last few months. Today, after the car had sat all night, when I drove off it was ok. Then I slowed down after I had taken off and pressed the accelerator slightly the car just chokes and stumbles. Then after the car warms up, it almost goes away. Could this be a transmission problem? I am lost.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Im thinking its your transmission bro. Thats what happened to my car i had 57,000 miles or so when it went out, but i took it to the stealer and since i had a manufacturer warranty they replaced it for me with no charge. The manufacturer warranty covers 60,000 miles for the transmission. But i hope u got the extended warranty so theyll cover u. But anyways your prob sounds just like mines. When i accelerate slowly there was no power unless i push on the accelerator and after a while it got so bad i couldnt even go in reverse but now its all good but beware when u take your car in service cus they jacked my 100 somethin cd's.
