What is the best way to lower my car without spending too much $ ?

I have been reading some messages about the D2 coilovers, are those the best to use to lower the car or are there any other options without all the hassle?

Thanks

By hassle, what do you mean? If you want to lower your car and you're on a budget, go with a nice spring/strut combo.

What I meant by hasle was the fact that the other threads I read were talking about there cars making clunking noises everytime they turned. I dont want to have to lift the car to adjust everything over and over untill its right. Busy guy...ya know.
Do you know of any good spring strut combos out there that I can install myself?

Thanks for the quick reply Stealthymax.

Everyone has a different opinion. The best , most economic option I have ridden in , and was similar to what I had , is Teins/ with Tokico Illuminas. You get a low stance, and adjustable struts/shocks. If you want to spend the extra money on Coilovers, get Jic FLT2's....big price difference.

I agree with Sploogy. What's the real point of coilovers if you don't keep adjusting the ride height. 90% of all people set the height once and that's it.

Just get a set of quality springs that don't drop the car a ton and some quality adjustable shocks. All you will ever be able to handle. Spend the rest on a RSB.

well, maybe even adjustable struts are too much of a hassle?

Do you want this for handling, or just for looks?

The cheapest and least hastle for you, is to buy probablly a used set, i saw a pair of koni sruts for sale, and get some nice springs, like any that are popular here on sale cheap.

Your best bet is a good spring strut combo and if you want to save money search around in the 5th gen classifieds, there are always people selling stuff in there.
