Hi, I just got my infiniti I30 (same as 2k maxima) remote off ebay, I also got the instruction. I tried to follow the steps but it didn't work. The first step is put the key into ingition 6 times in 10 secs. I tried to put it slow and nicely but it wouldn't work. Has anybody done this and could help me? Thank you.

 

Yeah I did this when I first got my car. The first remote didn't work that I got off ebay, there are numbers or whatever behind the remote and they have to match your car. I know there were a couple of Nissan remotes that look the same but has different numbers in the back. I got two of them off ebay and only one of them works. First when you do the key into ignition 6 times, after the 6th time, when u pull it out, ur blinkers should go off once. That means its about to be programmed. If it doesn't blink, then do it again. And if you missed the first time, you have to open the door get out, lock it, get in, close door and try again. PM me if you need more help
