You can get yourself a 6000k kit for under 300. Look for an H3 kit.

did any of u guys take out the reflector in the fogs, cause it seems the hid bulb is longer than a standard h3 and the reflector blocks alot of it

You just need to take a screwdriver and push the reflector back a bit.

Different companies have different K ratings. For example, his Xtec 6000K gives out purple color while my McCulloch 6000K gives out white/blue color

Well I have seen the Xtec and Umnitza's 6000k fogs and they have the purplish hue. Do you have pics of yours? On your site? By the time you reply I probably will have already checked.

Don't have straight shot but you can see the color reflecting off the ground is white. I can take a straight shot of my fogs if you like.

i also have the xtec hid kit (got from umnitza) in 6000k and though when you look at them, they are purple, from far away and on the ground its white with a hint of blue...
i also just now bought xtec 6000k bulbs for my oem stock 2k2 hids and now the fogs and hids match perfectly...

he did the HID fog install on my car along with some body work that i needed and i will tell you, my 2K looks like i just picked it up from the factory only better cause of the HID's and other little things i did.
