Wow, second thread like this in a day. Hopefully you get a better response than juice did because I would also like to know.

 

i mounted mine in the sunglass holder the wiring harness was the perfect length luckily! you will have to run the wiring directly behind the glove box though then up throught the a pillar and under the head liner i used the factory mounting bracket and just broke part of it off to make it work .

 

Ididn't even know about his, oops, well SR20DEN has one but...well...nevermind

You can mount it anywhere its convenient for you. There really isnt a "best" place.
