Trenz really ticks me off. First, they are ambiguous on some of their grills (not all of them indicate model and year). Second, their site is heavily devoid of photos. How on earth are you supposed to buy a COSMETIC IMPROVEMENT PRODUCT without seeing it? Are they nuts?

Anyway, it seems that they don't offer anything for the 95-96 year Maximas. Aside from the Grand Am looking Stillen grill, are there any other alternatives for the 95-96 Maxima?

trenz grill

i had a trenz grill on my max before i did the front end converstion and i have a 95. Took a little work but it looked good. only problem was there was a slight gap at the bottom but you could only notice it when you crouched down at eye lever with it

Differences between grilles..

The 97+ grille has quite a few changes on it in comparison to the 95-96's. Getting a 97 grille to fit on a 95-96 could be difficult.

Bad pic, and I'm still in the process of getting the custom work done on it, but it should give you an idea on the differences between the 95-96, and the 97s.

That's a real yucky picture of the 95-96 stillen SMX grille, on my 97. I was in the process of getting the entire front end replaced due to an accident, and hence the crappy paint & big dent in the hood. You can see the gap though, it's pretty big.

grille paint job

I'm going to get that metallic blue paint someone showed off on their engine and brake calipers... could be that it'll look great painted on the existing grille. Perhaps a nice contrast to the deep blue pearl paint. Hmmm...

Since you are interested in the grills I just started an amazing group deal on them. Check out my post in the group deal forum: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....threadid=37507
