Chrome Door handles?

Has there been any chrome door handles made for the 6th gens? Or maybe the handle pocket to be chrome and leave the handle itself its original color. If anyone is good with photoshop try it out and post in here, Im curious to see the outcome.

My majestic blue would look nice with them I think, along with chrome finishing around the windows.

Those started popping up on ebay a few weeks ago I think... I usually will search for Maxima stuff every now and then to see what comes up...

I think they might be "alright" on a silver car. MAYBE. Definitely doesn't look good on that dark colored car they're showing... And I'm thinking it's probably just a super-thin plastic shell held to the handle with tape. Couldn't be all that good up close IMO.

Yeah i do the same for ebay... I am really hoping that someone come out with some new taillights. I think a 3D type black interior / clear outer and chrome ringed red brakelight comes out.. i have a few photoshopped i sent a few companies.. and an LED set-up.... Come on aftermarket.. lol.. later..

Yeah it "might" look good on silver but agree with Miami, you can't lose the class of the vehicle either. I would go with pillar covers before I tried the door handles.

trends and styles

I think the chrome handles look OK on the black car body, but for my tastes I prefer a more uniform look. I wouldn't get a black or white car (too hard to keep clean) but I think the black or white Maxima looks very sharp, very modern/hip. Putting the chrome on such a vehicle would, in my opinion, interrupt the body lines and the clean, monochrome look. Who knows, maybe in a few years the styles will change and chrome appointments will be all the rage. For now, I prefer a car that is all one color. It seems contemporary and less "busy".

But here is a central consideration-you work hard for your money, and if you want to put chrome on your car, I know you will enjoy the process and the result. Hey, it's your car so you can do with it what you want. I'm glad to see another person trying different things, I very much respect that.

Maybe styles can be similar to appliances: Stainless steel appliances are all the rage now. A few years before that it was black, before that almond color was popular, before that it was white. Maybe white will be next in vogue.
