1995 Headlights
i changed my 96 to 99 style. The only problem i had was with the two bolts behind the corner lenses. The holes on the 99 frames dont line up totally, so i had to enlarge the holes on the fender. All the other bolts lined up perfectly. They look x10 better than my 96 headlights especially with 99 corner lenses and diamond cut bumper lenses.
97-99s are all the same type of lights.
What would be the difference if they were 97's or 99's I bet the 97's would fit w/o any modifying holes since its the closest to the 96 max just with the euro clear headlights.

As for cost being high, isn't the clear/red tail-light priced rather steep for their purpose? Isn't Stillen body kit extremely steep? While we are on the subject, aren't all the mods expensive?
This is what separates a driver and an enthusiast...

I saw the APC clear/red tails for $120... that sounds much more reasonable than $500 for the headlights, so hard to compare here.
But hey, if you feel you get the look you want, then it is worth it to you... I was just making a point for those "on the fence", who are leary of spending a lot.
how does 98 maxima headlamps make it plug and play for a 96 maxima? Would the 97 or 99 headlamps make it plug and play too? I wonder, cuz it wouldn't make sense why just the 98 headlamps are plug and play. Has the headlamp assembly changed from 97, 98, and 99? Anyone have any clue? Because I'm thinking about doing this conversion in 2-3 weeks. Thanks!

Not necessarily, if you got a good body shop, you can change out your whole front end as I did. I got a 97+ front bumper, 97+ grill, paint, and installation done for $360.00 for everything. That is a great deal and it totally changed the whole look of the car, also, I could now put on a 97+ front spoiler for the body kit, which looks 10x better than the 95-96 front spoiler. I do plan on getting the 97+ headlights in the near future. Go to www.copartfinder.com and email some of those people with wrecked Maximas, you can get them for cheap. Later all.
