I got some H&R springs and some Tokiko shock/struts installed a couple of days ago. Does anyone know if an aligment is needed??? Driving around my aligment seems fine, but I have read that people go back in a couple of month to get an aligment after they lowered there Maxima.
I don't want to pay for an aligment if I don't need one...

Do a search on alignment. But yes you should get it aligned after any suspension work.

You can ride around without one but it'll cost you in the long run. Your tires will wear unevenly very quickly.

When is the best time to get it aligned? Should I wait a few days to get it, so it can settle, or should I get it done the same day?

I would wait for about 2 weeks and then get an alignment. That way it gives your car time to settle and 2 weeks of bad alignment shouldn't harm your tires much. Don't assume that just because your car drives fine and that your steering is straight that you don't need an alignment. When lowering your car,it definitely affects the camber of your alignment and maybe other areas as well. You can only tell if your camber is off when you get an alignment or when your tires wear out. Save your money by just getting front aligned, the rear is not affected and you couldn't do any changes to it. Hope this helps.

two weeks is about right, but definitly get an alignment, mine looked and rode fine after the drop but whey I got it aligned it was off a little; a decent shop should be able to align an H&R drop to within factory specs on a 4th gen w/o any camber kits.
