I have an 04 Maxima SE that has just had its first oil change at 6000 Km. Up to the oil change, the maintenance reminder would show the KM for the change, and the KMs accumulating. After the change, I assumed the dealership would reset the reminder which they did not. I have been able to reset the KM now required to 12,000 KM, but cannot change the accumulating KM to reflect the current KM. The manual is not very informative in this regard. Any thoughts?

I believe what you are talking about is the amount of miles driven so far on the oil change. Just hold in the maintenance button while looking at the oil change settings and it will go back to zero.

I always check the settings after an oil change because the dealer only reset them for me the first time and then never again.
