Anyone used the "color" wax before?

Hi everyone,
Happy new year!
I would like to know does anyone use the "color" wax to "eliminate" the scratch? Does it work?
This morning my max was "kissed" by SUV from behind (the road was full of snow and the suv couldn't stop). Luckily, my max was not damaged. However, there were some long and shallow scratchs on the rear bumper.
Because the scratchs were too long, I don't think the touch up paint would work well. So I am thinking about using those color wax to hid the scratchs.
Does anyone use them before? Does it work? Can I find the color match wax? (my max is sunlit sand)

I had a friend who used it, he didn't like it for **** and does not recommend it to no one. FYI he used a blue one and says it made more of a mess than anything. I don't have much info on it but that was enough for me not to buy it...... my02

I like that color wax stuff on my black Max because I don't see the wax residue in the cracks like the door handles and stuff. It's still there, but it just blends in. Not as good of a shine as Mother's, but when I'm in a hurry, I use the color stuff.

Ok.......

Ok the color wax is crap! I used it on my red prelude. But anyway do not assume that nothing is wrong with your car. If this guy tapped you hard enough to scratch & indent the bumper there is probably damage. The foam that is in the bumber is delicate & it is there just for this reason.......to absorb light 5 mile per hour fender benders. But it is probably in small chunks now. I would have a shop or yourself take off the bumper to see if it needs replacement. If you dont replace it the next time something happens where someone rear ends you lightly there will be alot more damage because the foam is not there to absorb.

Thanks for the information.
So the color wax does not work very well, right?
Ok I will not use it.
I will also take off my bumper to check.
Thanks again.
