those things really look like gimics. does anyone actually have one????

 

they are gimmics. There is one that supposedly works from thomas knight, but it requires an external battery and it only works in 15 second bursts. Youd be better off with NOS

 

How does it work?
The Superchargers airflow dynamics produces a swirling, fast-burn effect in the combustion chamber. This creates finer particles of atomized fuel, allowing better flame propagation and more complete combustion.

Gain up to 2psi equivalent boost, from 750cfm airflow

First it sounds like a tornado then they say it's electric and it's like a supercharger, but it doesn't mechanically compress any air so it's basically an air pump.

Forget it. If getting extra hp were this easy every car manufacturer would be using one.
