The difference is basically with this one you won't pass emission inspection, with the stock OEM cat you will. I'm not sure if you gain any HP tho. Anyway Soonrfan has something like that..

Hey khynex, you may want to read that guy's feedback before you think about bidding on the product. I did, and I was definitely swayed from purchasing anything from him.

that is not a cat..its a straight pipe like i have.

but if it was a "hi-flow" cat then....
three-way catalytic converters on todays cars use a honeycomb structure. they are less restrictive then the older kind that used ceramic beads.

bottom line...the "hi-flow" cats are not much less restrictive then the stock one so i feel that they are a waste of money.

The best high flow cat on the market is the warpspeed metal substrate cat. Flows as well as a test pipe, and will pass emissions in most states. Only problem, its $175

I have that along with the FC's catback and Cattman Y-pipe. I passed emission in Virginia.
FYI: Make sure your car is running for awhile so that the CAT is operated at an optimum temperature.
