need advice on maxima purchase, carfax

hey, I checked out a 97 maxima se with "only" 35k but the problem is that it was a theft recovery at 4000k and the odometer supposedly was stuck for a few months. The check engine light is on also. The asking price is 6500 and I was wondering if anyone has an unlimited autocheck or carfax and can run it for me because It seems pretty fishy. the VIN # is JN1CA21DXVT849228. I'd appeciate it if someone could check it out and forward it to me. The car is too far for me to bring to my mechanics shop at the moment so i'd appreciate some advice. The leather seats and interior do not show much wear but the other things have me worried. Is this a better buy than a 98 maxima with 55k that is super clean but doesnt seem to have many options beside sunroof..maybe its a gxe. I don't really know the models. I'm buying it to replace my older gen 3 maxima. Thanks in advance for your help. Also, is carfax or autocheck better? thanks again

-this isn't a carfax service, buy your own subscription and do it yourself
-if it sounds too good to be true, it is
-you're even thinking twice about buying a car that "had a stuck odometer for a few months"?
-theft-recovery, known bad miles, check engine light..... are you really asking if it's a better buy than *anything*?
