Led Bulbs Off Of Superbrightleds.com, Use Them For Gauges????
i saw some pics of someone who bought leds 194 bulbs(4leds in each) off of superbrightleds.com for his gauge cluster lights. they seem alright but just unsure if its gonna light up the whole thing cause arn't they focused at the tip? plus some off those have low viewing angles, especially the blues i think.
they have 194 led bulbs with 5 leds, 4 wide ones and 1 big one in the center.
it goes around 2 something bucks i was thinking about getting them b/c i'm bailing out of the reverse indigo glow gauges after hearing some bad feedbacks. so should i?

Those bulbs (the 4-LED ones) are exactly what I have from superbrightleds.com in my gauges, and this is what your gauge cluster will look like. I really really like it, it looks like there are some hotspots in the pic, but they aren't noticeable at night. At least I don't notice them...
hey slack, that looks reallly nice, five bulbs right? are any of the gauges like brighter than the other, can't really distinguish that well. also how long did it take for them to come in?
No gauges are brigher than the other, although as you can see in the picture, around the 40 mph, 100 mph, 2500 rpm and 7000 rpm marks the light is a little brighter than anywhere else... If you can live with that they're perfect.
Yeah I got 5 bulbs of the 4-LED-per-bulb bulbs, and I think they came in pretty quick, like 4 business days or something
