not bad, does it drone at all? my only complaint would be it seems like its taking a dump right when you start to get going.

I have a flowmaster 40 delta flow w/ budget y and b pipes and high flow cat. I also have a PR type CAI.
It doesn't drone. It's quiet enough inside to have a conversation with the passenger and when the music is up a little you can't hear it at all.

Another person who doesn't know how to make good videos. The first one doesn't do much cause you let off the gas before you went past the camera. 99% of maximas with an exhaust sound good when they come at the camera. Keep accelerating past the camera and I bet the exhaust sounds pretty bad judging by what it sounded like in the second video. It has a nice deep tone but as you pull away it sound like you're taking a dump. I was thinking of getting a 40 series delta but now I really don't want to.

I know the videos are bad. I didn't have a good spot to do them. If I was back home then I could just do it on my road but these roads out here are too busy. I had to do it in a parking lot where there wasn't much room. Once I go home I'll take better videos. Thanks for the constructive critisizm though. Any one else

well lets see, its like dave said...if your going to make an exhaust video at least rev it to reline while stationary then taking off from the rear up to redline again. Not to dis you or anything but the first video you midaswell call it an intake video cause you cant hear the exhaust one bit, and the second one is so short that you dont really get a feel for the sound of it. -Ryan

LMAO, takin a dump. I have to agree it sounds like a Civic to me. My friend just got a custom 2.5" bpipe put on and has a Apexi WS muffler. Very deep tone, sounds very nice. It will be interesting to see when he gets a ypipe put on.

^I posted my budget y-pipe, and apexi ws videos ages ago. The exhaust had a leak, still does, and I think it still sounds awesome.

I think it sounds great while sitting there revving....not so great when you first start off...but still okay....just wish you gunned it or partial throttled it after that driving away from the camera!

slap some headers on there rather than a y pipe...and I think you will be amazed how good that setup will/can sound...!

I think the sound the car makes when it first takes off is due to the rpms dropping so low. Since my car is automatic I have to shift to drive and that causes the rpms to go all the way down. I'm just waiting for my trans. to sh*t out on me so I can get a 5-speed conv.

Do you have a resonator? It sounds pretty good, alittle raspy after take-off in the second video, IMO.

Yeah, I have a magnaflow resonator. Before the resonator was on, it sounded really loud and raspy.

what are you talking about no open roads around state college i am down there every month there are plenty of nice roads to take a video of i mean you have to actually drive your car off campus its not hard to find a road around there, and like everyone said theres no point of making a video of a exhaust if your just going to stop before you pass the camera man, you will here the actual sound of the exhaust after it passes you due to physics...please post a better vid so we can all benifit from this!
thanks alot.
