How fast is too fast?

How fast can I go in my stock 97SE Auto before I cause harm to the engine/car? 120mph? 130mph? Higher?

car can go as fast as the odometer shows, anything faster would have been listed.

out of curiosity why? big track plans for the max? or just want to know if its damaging to the car to drive in the 120+ range for long?

You should be more worried about the harm you may cause to yourself and others if you were to have a tire blow out or lose control for some other reason. Not your motor

Thanks for the reply...

I want take my car to the track, but I do not want to harm the car. I thought running the car on high rpms can damage the engine. Unfortunately, I don't know much about cars. What is the top speed you have traveled in your max?

its a maxima not a ferrari, after a certain speed, our cars become hard to control, and therefore dangerous. there not designed to drive above 120 all the time. well unless your an experience driver.
