I have the map/ baro switch code, an o2 sensor code, a knock sensor code, and a fuel pump control module code. After searchign through threads for a good while - I think I30tJim may have indirectly answered my problems. I used an engine wiring harness off of an I30 automatic motor on my current Maxima motor. I think this is the reason that I'm getting these codes. I30tjim mentioned that he had these codes on his I30 when he used a nissan maxima ecu in his i30. Sound about right?

 

Same thing happened to mike when he used a maxima ecu in his I30, and to another guy when he did it as well. I think you just figured out your problem. Apparently the harnesses are not identical.

 

oh crap, thats what happened to me... it wasnt from an I30 though, it was from a 98 or 99 harness... for example I couldnt get rid of my 02 in the cat code from popping up... I had an electric shop look at my car... 97-99's have a harness with 4 wires, 95/96's only have 3.. thats why it would come up immediately... read this thread on my car.
