12V to the head lights?

I know tis is a stupid question, but our headlights have 12 volts going to them right?

I will be nice. The electrical system in a car is 12 volts but it ranges from 12-14 once the motor is running

Thanks Zack I was almost positive the head lights had 12V going to them. I dont know what I was thinking. Thanks again
