Since moving into my new house and a crazy weekend in Reno i've now lost both my original and spair key. Has anyone else had this? I'll call Nissan tomorrow but i'm curious if anyone has delt with this problem? How much did it cost and what are my options?

Spare key


You can go to a locksmith and they can make one from the door or ignition cylinder

 

Unless your locks have been changed since the car was new, the dealer should be able to make a key from the VIN.

 

Thanks for the quick responses. I'll call the nissan dealer and see what they tell me. Any idea on the cost of a lock smith making the new key?

 

my fiancee got them made for her 97 honda at a locksmith a couple days ago for 160 installed at the dealer if that helps.
