much atf

ok, for some reason lately i have been losing ALOT of ATF out of my cooler line and i am leaving tommorow to salem, i am pretty sure they are tight, they need to be replaced any way but i cant do that in a morning so i was wondering if any one knew if ATF would eat away at Permatex Gasket Maker?

i kinda need to know by tommorow morning...i know gasoline doesent eat through it but atf is a little different

If it does, it probably only will over time. Nothing to worry about over the short term.

nah it won't eat through it... you can use that stuff pretty much anywhere. the higher-up types like the ultra blue and ultra gray are really good. I used ultra black on my blazer's transmission pan 2 years ago and haven't had any leakage from it, so I'm fairly confident that you'll be ok.
