Woot! got my es bushings in..

I just picked up my ES bushing from Superior Nissan, and I must say these bushings look tight. I got the motor mounts, control arms, sway bar, and rear trailing arms. Still need the subframe bushings, but those are on back order..

Has anyone tried installing the rear trailing arm bushings?

Haven't done any bushing replacements yet, but I am very interested in it. Let me know how hard of a time and what method you use on the control arm bushings.

what are the benefits of replacing your bushings, say with other better material-like bushings?

The polyurethane bushings do not deform like OEM rubber. This lends precision to the suspension movement. It can also translate more noise and vibration to the cabin.

I believe cattman is having a group deal on ES bushings. Try checking the group deal section.

So is it the ES bushings that create more incabin noise? or is it the stockers your talking about that make more cabin road noise when they go bad? im kinda confused on that statement....

Poly bushings create more in-cabin noise. They are stiffer thus transfering the road conditions to the cabin of the car. Stock rubber bushings are softer and can dampen vibrations and road conditions better then poly bushings, but poly bushings are better at holding stuff in place because they flex/deform less.

Honestly, I didn't notice any increase in noise when I installed my control arm bushings. But I did notice an improvement in steering feel and precision.
