KYB GR2 strut life

ive been lookin aroud on the web and ive seen that alot of people say the gr2's wear out easily. i just recently did the ebiach gr2 set up on my car. I was wondering what people thought for the life of the strut. If it isnt very long i guess i would go with the tokico blues next. Thanks

I think mine are blown right now actually. The ride has gotten real rough and it rides like a Honduh now! It doesn't help that I have Suspension Technique springs either! lol They suck too! I'm definetly switching up to Eibach/Tokico. I'm sick of bottoming out over just about every curb.

I think they are great for a stock replacement and even for a slight drop (some have had KYB and Eibach for a while) but any moderate to large drop you will blow them pretty quickly I would imagine. I will probably know soon lol.

If you can afford it go with Koni. If not get Tokico...if you still cant afford that much then go ahead with the KYBs.

no i do as much as i can to even avoid potholes, but in jersey it isnt that easy. I've had lowriders before. The lowest of which was an 86 300 zx sittin about a 1/4 inch off the ground. No lie. Its amazing what hacked coil springs can do. That car was just a beater and I actually care about my max.

My driveway, the entrance to my school parking lot, speed bumps, entrances to some of my friends apartments, even a slope that is slanted.
