Help please. There were how to's and I had them saved in my favorites. Now they're gone.

Anyone know how often these belts should be replaced? When it rains I sometimes get a belt noise that will go away, and while driving I can hear that there is some slack in the belts.. thanks

In the meantime, try some belt dressing.

I dont know the exact mileage but if you can see them starting to dry rot... starting to crack, fray or the ribs are coming off, its time to take them of. WHen it rains or I go over a deep puddle I hear mine screech... its normal. Its water getting on the belts. I dont know how you can hear slack in the belts but more power to you.
