Will 5th gen springs fit a 96gle
the fronts will fit I believe. The rears wont. The diamater of the spring perch is bigger on the 5th gen than on the fourth gen. Therefore the bottom of the spring is larger on the 5th gen than on the fourth gen. I had a buddy try to fit his eibachs springs for his 5th gen on fourth gen rear shocks. No luck.
Hope that makes sense.
also the cars use a different chassis code... a32 (4th gen) vs a33 (5th gen).
You can modify the front struts to fit either car by opening up the bolt holes on the strut that attaches to the steering knuclke.
Hope that makes sense.
