timing chain seal leaking oil ? how much should it cost to be repaired ?

I have a 95 max se and i thought my valve cover gasket was leaking oil but i guess that wasnt it so i changed it anyway but it seems to be coming from my timing chain seal. Before i bought the car without any consent to me they changed the timing chain. When i thought your not supposed to change it, its supposed to last the life of the car right ? Well anyway i think the timing chain is tensioned incorrectly and leaking oil. Any one have an estimate on a job cost ? I know i cant do it my self . And i wont trust the company that attempted to replace it he first place. because they didnt use any gaskets they just used sealant.... They changed the oil too and i have no oil pan gasket just sealent and its leaking all around their too . As soon as i change my oil i got a gasket to go on.
