Their HIDS look much better than out 5th gens do. Did they change something other than the bulbs?

I'm not sure of how much more effective an HID setup the 6th gens have but they sure do look nicer than my 5.5G.

 

bi-xenon projectors. our single bulb is used for hi and low beams. the shutter creates a reflection to achieve the bluish light at some angles.

The projector based HIDs found in the 04/05 Max's are much better than the HIDs in the 02/03 cars as far as light output.

For those that like hard data, I have none. Just my personal opinion.

 

Damn. I guess I will just leave them alone. From my understanding there is no physical way to increase light output by using a less yellow bulb correct? By using a bulb that filters out more yellow light you will reduce the actual light output?
