tailight help

I had to disconnects all three of my tailights (break lights) because they stay on all the time, even when the car is off. Could there be a short to ground. I don't really know much so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I hope you dont plan on driving it w/o brake lights. First I would reconnect them and play with the brake pedal. It could be that the sensor is stuck.

yes. Brake lights are one of the things that work with the key off.

There should be a brakelight switch mounted to the pedal.
About half way up usually just around the bottom of the dash.
It either clips or screws in.Unplug it and get a new one.

Just like your headlights which would stay on with the doors locked, your brake lights work the same way.
