What u think my cars worth?

Thinkin about selling the 3rd gen for a 5th gen.

What u think its worth?

Its got 68k on it, basically mint, oil changes every 3k, washed and waxed regularly and has had all major maintenence done over the last year and a half or so. (timing belt, front axels, exhaust etc.) I seen some on autotrader that were goin for like $5000 with about the same miles and no mods...even tho i know that doesnt raise the value of the car but if i sell it to someone my age i might get away with making more $$$$ on it...

You MIGHT be able to sell it for more to some kid. Just don't be in a hurry to sell it if you want alot for it.

I bought my first car for $1600, put 10,000 miles on it, and sold it for $2500 to some stupid kid. The car was MAYBE worth $1000 when I sold. I knew the kid and hated him so I sold it to him. I just could'nt believe he was that stupid to actually buy it.

I think you could sell it for $2,500-$3,000 without a problem. That is really low mileage, plus the buyer wouldn't have to replace the things you just recently replaced with is a thumbsup in anyones book

With 68k on the odo, you could pull down $4k easy.

Honestly, I doubt he could get $4k for it. I hope he does, because that's good for us owners, but I just don't see it happening.

I tend to see them for around $2k-$3k, but I think $4k is tough for a VG AT car. It's not impossible, but you have to be patient.

A nice VE 5-speed with 60k, I could see going for $4k. Maybe.

I paid $2500 for mine. It did have 148k on it, but the paint and interior are in very good shape and mine came with a set of new snow tires mounted on steel wheels (probably worth $300-$400 total).

I just sold my '91 GXE auto with 124k miles for $2300. I was in really nice condition but definetly not mint. It was completely stock. Stock rims not like in some or the pics.

Here are some pics just for reference: Pics

So if I got $2300 you can get $3000. But then again this was in NYC where Maxima's hold their value well. And dont forget it is a 14 yr old car. And I just bought a '98 for $3,600. But if you wait enough you will find the right buyer.

Most people buy a car based on looks and mileage.
you could sell a "low mileage" non-running car for not much less than the same car running. which would still be way more than a Perfect running high mileage car.

So are all your mods going to stay on the car including wheels, sterio system, etc.? Is there anything wrong/broken on the car? You should be able to get at least $3000 with those low miles.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...522819184&rd=1

This one went for waaay too much:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...522745181&rd=1

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...521765456&rd=1

So there's three comparible cars to your, all with higher miles that sold for as much as $3,000. If you hold out long enough I'm sure you can get at least 3k, list it on www.craigslist.org and mention all the mods on the car and list how much money you have put into it as well as pics of the car, and mention the low miles and you should be able to sell someone on it.
