engine hesitation
hey yall
ive noticed this for the last 2 weeks or so, and today i put on my y-pipe so i was stomping the throttle to test it and i really can notice this.
i have a 97 gxe automagic, 18 inch wheels, short stacked PR CAI, cattman y-pipe, stillen b-pipe and muffler. heres the problem.
today i was at about 60ish on the freeway, dropped the gas, it cleared 2nd gear fine. it hit 3rd, and at about 5k rpm, the needle drops about 2-300 rpms then starts climbing again. i did not take my foot off of the floor, nothing...it goes up, at 5k drops a little, then goes again.
and in 2nd gear on the street, it did the same thing at 3200 rpms. i dont know whats going on, but im taking the car in for a tuneup - new plugs, fuel filter, oil change, ATF change, all that, so i hope it will solve this!
thanks for the help.
