exhaust tone?

i have a cai and a magnaflow muffler. will changing my y and b pipes change the tone or volume of my exhaust a lot? my set up right now is a bit on the quiet side. if those changes dont make it any louder i might go for a y and a new cat back. thoughts?

Your y-pipe will change both your exhaust tone and volume. The tone will much deeper and the volume of course will go up.
