you would have to order it from the dealership, i couldnt wait they had the whole assembly for $60, also you can drive without it if you had to i used this hook thing i got from my pry bar set to hold it down to give resistance to the belt while tightenign the bolt that holds the wheel thingy on

EZ OUT or you might try drilling it out since you have nothing to lose.

Same thing happened to me. Iwas tightening it to get rid of the squealing. Ended up tightening it too much. Now i can twist it with my hand easily. I don't know what went wrong. Did i strip the thread or something? Do i have to buy the whole belt tensioner piece?

you have to LOOSEN THE PULLY BOLT BE4 YOU ADJUST TENSIONER. You just broke your bolt off.. now, run to the dealer and get a new tensioner bolt and nut.

I'm changing my belts tomorrow and now I'm worried about this. So I loosen the pulley bolt, pulley right beside the alternator?, that the tensioner is on, and then tension the belts, then tighten the pulley bolt?

Thanks,
Mooney

That should help. I know its about alternator replacement, but it gives pics and good discriptions about taking the belts off.

Really? how long did you drive it like that? The tensioner just puts tension on it while you tighten the idler nut, so after you tighten the idler the tensioner's job is done? my dealer is 13 miles from me. I didnt drive the car all weekend cuz i didnt know i could drive without it :/
