I also need a new muffler for 98 gle. How does that magnaflow sound? Do you have any mods? i will kill myself if it sounded even a little bit raspy or ricey.

i have one for sale (14832), with the proper flange welded

 

i think i have the same one as gtr rider. it has a nice deep sound, not raspy at all.

 

is there anything smaller that sounds deep? in not into big/fat mufflers

 

Where did you get that part number on the magnaflow website? It's not listed. Is it stainless or alumidized. I was going to go with the Dynomax Super Turbo. Magnaflow is not loud is it? No droan etc.....?

The magnaflow is loud and can be raspy unless you stick two or more resonators in the b-pipe. The only reason i'm keeping mine is cus i like the look. I have my eyes on the dynomax super turbo though.

 

Okay, so it IS loud. I was planning on one resonator anyway. But do you think it will still be loud? The Dynomax Super Turbo muffler was my first choice, and I was told it would sound like the bees in a can thing. I don't have a y-pipe though, just stock. I'm only getting the custom ss B-pipe, a resonator and some muffler which has yet to be determined......

 

dont get a Bpipe and you will be fine,

 

The point is, I need a B-pipe, it has a hole in it......
