Where to wrap the exhaust wrap- for sound reduction

Do I wrap the down/Y-pipe and flex section? Or do I wrap the b-pipe? Or is it a toss up?

to get rid of the rattle? flex section area...although mine is now breaking apart and withering away for some reason.
