I hate big wing/spoilers

im just writing this cuz i saw a pic of a Maxima with a huge *** stupid Ricey wing on the back. It bugs me for 3 reasons

1. IT looks horrible
2. Maximas are front wheel drive...downforce on the rear does nothing for you
3. It looks horrible

I agree.

I dont like to see it on any car besides GT touring car, not on street cars, show cars at the most.

I only see 2 reasons
But if it's not your car why do you care?

yeah the lip is a little outragous along with the wing that might keep you out of some small garages

but the paint looks good and those wheels with the polished lip....

I dont like it when people choose a wing that doesnt suit their car, they get something big high up, and light grey with a small car thats a blueish green color.

when its done right it looks good, and above is an example of it done right.

I have to agree with the "if it ain't my car, I dont care what they do with it." Everyone has their own tastes, and opinions on what they think look good, no matter how funny it may be for some of us. If they want a big a** goofy ricer wing, have a field day...

^^ true but people need to expect bashing when they do that to their car........its alright if they want to do it, just don't make threads asking for opinions on their spoiler

I think that wing suites that car because the car is bodykitted, I dont know how to explain it, it looks fast so the wing fits. If that wing were placed on a stock body maxima it would look out of place. IMO that car looks nice.

bignutts, your car is certainly one of the best exterior modded Max's that I've seen. I guess the big spoiler thing just isnt my cup of tea regardless. I only like the see them on real race cars...like porsches etc...

not bashing it, cuz it is hot, but is that a skyline bumper, with a stillen lip (96-96) on it, with some splitters on that? thats one built up front end imho. nice though, the wing does kinda pull the whole thing together, the rear would just look way too bland without it.

EDIT: nevermind, im an idiot, guess its just skyline bumper with splitters. nice though

I like the stock spoiler. But in general I like no spoiler at all.

There is some b!tch here locally cutting people off every time I see her. If I were a bad guy, her wing would meet the business end of a ball peen.

that max looks like the terminator of all maximas. that looks wicked nice with that spoiler. but huge spoilers without crazy body kits just dont cut it.

That is a pretty nice looking Maxima bignutts, as others have said, but large wings are a terrible invention. Even on Supras and Skylines and such I think they are a styling disaster. Rice=Big Wing, but hey if you like 'em, get one.
Don't be shy because of what someone else says, express yourself with a big wing if you want to!
