I have a 96 maxima with 104k miles on it. I have a custom 2 1/2 cat back and an ebay cold air intake. I run roughly a flat 16. Does this sound correct??? I heard that when your check engine light is on it limits power, is this true? If so, how much hp does it rob? Mine is on because my knock sensor. If any one could shed any light on the situation would be a great help. Thanks

 

The knock sensor is robbing alot of your power, get it fixed.
