question about wiring

First off, I'd like to vent that I'm PO'ed I don't have a 5 spd. I've been reading threads all night about 5 spd's changing the cluthc and flywheel and LSD's and argh ! I have to stomp on my gas just to get a bit of juice outta my 99 calispec. probably have bad coilpacks too.

Ok, the question about wiring deals iwth the courtesy light. yea i know this topic has been beaten to deaht and it's just a tiny light, but i'm just a stickler with the lights. I remember reading that i shorted out something and it probably dealt with the master drivers side window switch. My question is will swapping that out solve the problem? Or is there wiring in other places where it could hvae fried.

If that doesn't fly, I'd like to have some kind of light when I open my door, so where is it possible for me to tap into? I'll probably do an led thingie. I was always curious becuase I'd like to wire in some rear courtesy lights as well. Sorry for the long dragged out question and thanks for the replies.

yeah repalcing the whole drivers switch with a known good one will fix the problem. as for another place to get power, the door trigger wire is located behind the drivers kick panel, and is a red with white stripe wire, you can use that for courtesy lights on all the doors
