I need some work done to my 92SE 5SPD, (The Timing Chain.......) I'm in Northern Jersey and I'm looking for a "Good" Mechanic to help me out.
Any Suggestions?

Thanks in Advance

Its been clattering (very loud at times, as if knocking with a hammer) for a while now, after about 10 - 15 minutes running. When I put it in gear and let off the clutch it goes away.

your VTC's are bad, you can ground them and the noise will go away. Maybe Maxima-4DSC can help you out, he's in your area

it could very well be the timing chain and not the VTCs. easy way to find out is to ground the VTCs and see if it goes away. If it does, then it's VTCs.. if not, then it's timing chain.
