Has anyone with a popcharger or Stillen intake had this problem.....the backside of the fiter part of the intake rubs on the MAF wire that runs along the strut tower....it's kinda squishing part of the filter....is this bad???? Could it wear through and ruin my engine???

Thanks

didnt you get a bracket to hold it in place? I got a bracket that just slides under the clamp holding the filter to the Air Flow Meter and then bolts to the tire well or whatever that is. Where exactly is it rubbing, maybe im misunderstanding but this is what I did with my filter because it was rubbing on the tire well so I used the bracket to bolt it down and hold it still. Good Luck

It's bolted down with the bracket, but it is positioned so close to the tire well (strut tower) that as the engine moves under acceleration I guess it rubs against the wiring along the tire well.

well, I didn't get the bracket... i just used a piece of foam for now... i bolted it down with one of the unused bolts from the original air filter box. i plan on making a bracket...or you could take yours off and give it to me
