RPMs in 6th gear manual

I was looking at a thread, and saw people with different rmps than my car. Just wanted to ask everybody's opinion on your performance, and if my numbers are off. Here is what I get in 6th gear:
60mph - 1900 RPM
70mph - 2250 RPM
80mpg - 2500 RPM

I think these RMPs are higher than what most people are seeing in their cars. Do you have any ideas on what I can do to get it lower? I saw a thread on training your gas pedal, and airlflow; is this a good idea, and does it help with RMPs?

That's pretty much where i'm at. Why would you want to lower your RPM's? Getting 2500 rpm's @ 80 mph is pretty damn good. You want to get it lower, go buy a car with a nice, big V8 in it.

I love this car. I don't think the RPMs are off, from experience with other cars, but from what I'v read on this forum, some people have lower RPMs at these speeds than me.

My RPMs are the exact same as yours. If you are comparing to a post where the person had larger rim's/tires than its apples to oranges.
