I heard emax95 say that stillen is making I30 body kits, and coming out any day now. Is this true, or a rumor?

 

Hope fully true, I really want to know how it looks! I heard it will have the same side skirts though.

 

This is true, they have had the body kit for several years now. They have not released it yet because it was designed on a New Zealand Maxima{AKA I30}. They have to have the patent changed to a I30 rather then a New Zealand maxima for legal reasons. I talked to my salesman about a week ago and he is still saying the same thing "Quote" , we will be having a meeting this week and the body kit should be for sale as soon as we are done disscussing it. The problem here is I have been told this for over a month now so I am begining to get aggrevated. I called my sales man today and I believe he is still on vacation. I will call again tomorrow to see if there is any thing new, if there is I will post here under this thread. He did tell me not to tell anyone though because he did not want tons of people calling to order the body kit when it is not ready, so do me a favor and don't call.

 

The body kit has been around for years, but because the kit was made for a New Zealand Maxima{AKA I30} they have to first copyright it for a I30. The kit fits the I30 but because of legal issues they have not yet released it. Every time I call they say that it will be ready for sale in a couple days, then I call back and am told the same thing a long with a little story. I will call again tomarrow and let you know what's new. The kit will definatly be out soon, but how soon, I don't know.

 

Once you find the price out, do you think it would be possible to get a group deal???

 

I dow't they will offer a group deal on a brand new item, because for one they know if you really want it you will just order it at full price, but if and when the demand is slow then companys are much more willing to set up a group deal.


Update: Nothing new as usual I will try again next week. It's probably a bad time because of Stillen upcomming open house.
