Strange 'cyclonic' noise all of the sudden

Suddenly while driving my car makes a "cyclonic" type noise that oscilates proportional to the speed i am driving and seems to resonate throughout the car... Its not very loud but enuf to be annoying especially around 50-60mph. anyone know the cause?

It could be either your tensioner pulley or the water pump is starting to go. The same thing happened to my car about two months ago. They replaced the tensioner pulley first which decreased the noise a little. About a week later they put in a new water pump and the noise stopped completely. I was told that the bearings in the pulley were starting to go and that the water pumps bearing were bad also.

This sounds probable to me cuz i suspected the sound was coming from the wheels.... How much are wheel bearings? do i need 4 new ones? is there a way to tell which one has gone out? all Brakes are good although I know that my rear driver side rotor is slightly warped. no idea how this happened cuz i NEVER ride my brakes but could this cause the sound?
