electric problem, fuse?

today i was just checkin if all my fuses work, because my lighter doesnt work even though i changed out the whole thing to troubleshoot to see if it was the lighter. All my fuses seem good but there one on the right side the 2nd 10 from the top doesnt work. So i took one that i knew that worked for sure and placed it there, still doesnt work. Also when i brake my innerglows come on, and this been happening for at least two months now. Can that fuse be a reason for any of this?? Any help would be appreciated

lighter? or heavier? ---cigarette lighter that is?

Cig lighter fuse is at right bank, 15A, second from bottom.

Check out for u rear lights: is there any? Dash light go out if/as rear lights. Maybe u have shorted rear lihgts with brake light with a wrong bulb or smtg...

check the fuse that says brake lights or something like that, I do know that particular fuse also control the internal dash lights and such (a fail safe device so in case when your brake light fails, you will know)

that number 10 fuse never worked when i check it, but i took a fuse that did work and place it there. The light off the check thing didnt go off stating that i didnt work. But when i put that same fuse another place it worked. So i dont think its the fuse but the circuit board thats bad for that NUMBER 10 fuse that is located on the right side. The second one from the top

One of the rear assy might be shorted, oxidized or wrong bulb -type, mangled din: you spoke of brake light, remember? At least my maxima has all brake lights in the rear.

You should not change your bulb wattage: there is a law concerning rear light -or any- brightness. On rainy night you will kill people behind u with a shiny glare; is that u purpose?

I or YOU cannot say for a fact if there is anything shorting in your rear lights. Before -or- after stupidity. Checking out shorts, that is your responsibility. After checking, youre wiser than mee, oh boy.

Virtually one can only give virtual help - only by pointing to a possible problem source.
