Best headers for a 98 v6 maxima

Best headers for a 98 v6 maxima

A freind of mine is going to be purchasing another one ( he recently crashed him maxima totaled it now he is getting another one ) he wanted me to find out what are the best headers they make for the car.. ( i have tried search button not working for me ) also i know nothing about maxima's and he wants some feed backs pro/cons and your personal experience with them

Unless your friend will be going the supercharged/nitrous route, there is really no reason, other than sound, to buy full headers as opposed to just the y-pipe

power/cost ratio isnt worth it for headers, just go with y pipe

i saw headers on here for $150, ypipe is 90

go ahead and get the 150 headers, see how well the fit up, and then the extra cost to put them on and move the motor mount, ends up being more than 150

The ONLY headers worth your time and money are Cattman headers.

and they are what? like 800? for like 5 more hp at the most your paying an extra 650+ bucks.....

Yup just about $800... for boost they are worth it... and I guess if you have the money to blow.

Yup. And turbo too I would guess. At least of the turbo setup used the stock type manifold set up

well with T/C systems for 4th gens, what pipe is the up pipe? could you use cattman headers, and then make a custom up pipe?

I'm sure you could. In fact, I don't know why ssr didn't just use the stock manifolds for their turbo kit for the maxima
