ive seen people do this, and im sure everyone is going to tell you to go with the yellow capsuls because they look much better...its not very hard to do this anyway so maybe you should try it? just a suggestion...

most people simply use their stock halogens with the capsuls and they turn out pretty good.

Look on Irish44J's homepage... he's done both the Lamin-x thing and the capsules...

Since the capsules are so yellow... even the stock bulbs will be good enough... so I don't think it really matters...

I have seen piaa ion yellow vs. stock bulbs (with the Lexus capsules) in person, they look exactly the same,

I would recommend you stick with the stock bulb. Piaa ions get too hot for this set up, they burn the epoxy and coat the capsules with a nice sh*t brown color.

dont waste your $$ on overpriced PIA garbage, almost any bulb will do, though try and stay away from blue bulbs (yellow+blue + green),
use your stock ones or better yet some higher wattage bulbs, you can find them on ebay dirt cheap

yep thats me, my GF lives there. - Do you own the white max I see on bayridge ave from time to time w/ personalized plates MAX2E*** and was all banged up in the front not to long long ago ?

The orange fogs you are saw were amber capsules i made from signal bulbs w/ halogen H3s. I liked the way they looked thats why i procrastinated, and didnt install the yellow capsules I had ordered a while back. But I Finaly got off my *** on tues night, and i installed the yellow capsules w/ 5000k HID.

Next time i'm in brooklyn you will see some bright *** yellow fogs, they are pretty hard to miss.... If you havent yet, take look at the thread "foglights + yellow capsuls + 5000K HID bulbs ...Pics" and you will see what i'm talking about.
