How well would our AT hold up to the 3.5???

I'm considering getting the 3.5 swap done, and not sure if i want to go through with getting the 5 speed swapped too. how well would the auto tranny with a vb mod and a tranny cooler hold up to the new 3.5 bottom end, 3.5 heads, and a mevi? it'd be nice to be 5 spd, so all you people who are going to say, just get the 5 spd, i know that. but going through finding all the parts n **** wont be easy. let me know what you guys think.

I don't see why a 5.5 gen auto tranny wouldn't hold up - they come stock w/ the engine you want to put in.

id love to do the 5 spd swap, but just getting every little thing i need would be such a hassle. and i meant if the 5.5 gen auto would fit right into our 4th gens. i would think that it would since our trannies would bolt up to the 3.5 motor, but just thought i'd ask to make sure. im not sure of the differences in the transmission.

what about our 4th gen auto with a stage II valve body and tranny cooler? how well would that do? considering dudes are boosted with auto and vb, i think it should be fine. any other thoughts?

Not worth it. Swap manual or swap 02+ auto. Our internals are too weak...

acutally i know plenty of people supercharged with an auto and VB mod with no problems and over 30k on the tranny...im sure a 3.0 supercharger engine would put out just as much if not more power than the 3.5
