i was just outside ready to install strut bar and...

Well i was outside...and i was getting ready to install the strut bar....i "rented" the torque wrench from HomeDepot...i looked in my toolbox and found me a 6 point 14mm socket and poped the hood...look at the nut and **** that thing is huge...tried 14mm didn;t work..to small....tried 19mm that didn't fit either...so what size is the nut...the faqs said it was 14mm for 95-98 i have a 98 max....

14mm is the size for my 1996. Thats a "milti-sided" socket.

"Rented" HAHAHAHAHAHA

I tried 15mm too. It was a little loose. 14mm fits on there like a glove. 19mm is way to big.

Sunten1's look like mine. I have a Canadian 98 SE 5 spd, and mine look just like lug nuts, except mine are 22mm. I know another Canadian 98 SE 5 spd with 21mm ones that look just like the lug nuts.

Lol wow, you're funny. Did you mean to say torquing back to spec? He's still the retard and you just joined him. If he meant to say he rented the tq wrench to torque them to spec why did he mention the TQ wrench before even taking the nuts off? Yeah. 75% of the ORG is actually dumb enough to use TQ wrenches to loosen stubborn nuts and bolts so him wording his post the way he did wasn't a big surprise to me.

So basically you were to lazy to go get bigger sockets than what you had...
To find out what was going on?? Your socket was too small, thats what the hell was going on. You need a bigger one.

Lol. I agree with slimer, Dave is the ****, and lunchbox too, if your sockets are too small...maybe its just me, but something would tell me that a bigger one was needed.

Since when is it illegal to say T I T S? We fight for freedom in Iraq and we dont even have it on the forum!

As for the poster... I think his first mod should be getting a new set of nuts.

Those things look like they're supposed to bolt light poles into the ground.

Stand down there flyboy. Its good to be a proud enlisted reservist.

Don't take things so personally. I dont need to prove myself on a maxima forum so I wont.

However you just proved my point.
